On behalf of the Washington Men’s Gymnastics Foundation and the University of Washington Men’s Gymnastics Team, welcome to the Washington Open! We are excited to have athletes, coaches, families, alumni, and supporters joining us as we kick off another season of men’s gymnastics.
The Washington Open holds a particularly special place in my heart. I’ve had the opportunity to experience this meet from nearly every angle—as an athlete, team alum, judge, coach, and now as President of the Washington Men’s Gymnastics Foundation. Knowing that this meet has continued to grow for decades, long before I ever stepped into the gym, makes that journey even more meaningful. Now seeing it from the perspective of Foundation President has given me an even greater appreciation for the countless hours and dedication that generations of athletes, coaches, families, volunteers, and supporters have put into making this meet what it is today.
As we begin another season, I hope the Washington Open helps set the tone for the athletes and coaches competing this weekend. While the competition brings us together, I hope the weekend also provides a chance to reconnect with old friends, teammates, competitors, and members of the gymnastics community as we start a new season together.
Thank you to everyone who has traveled to Seattle to compete and to those who continue to support the UW Men’s Gymnastics Team and the Washington Open. Weekends like this are a reminder that men’s gymnastics is about more than what happens on the competition floor—it’s about the friendships, traditions, and community that make this sport so special.
The Washington Men’s Gymnastics Foundation is proud to support the UW program, create opportunities for athletes, and help keep collegiate men’s gymnastics alive in Washington. We are always looking for new board members and supporters who want to contribute their time, talents, or resources. We would love to have you involved as we continue building the future of men’s gymnastics in Washington.
To those competing or visiting our state for the first time, we hope this is the beginning of a great season and a weekend you will remember for years to come. Best of luck to all of the athletes competing this weekend. Stay healthy, stay safe, and most importantly, enjoy the experience!

Tickets are $5 each. Half the pot goes the winner, half the pot goes to support the Washington Men's Gymnastics Team.
Winning ticket will be drawn at the end of the weekend. You do not have to be present to win.
